Mother's Helper employees treat patients with kindness and keep all needs private.

Unless asked otherwise, patients will be addressed as "Mr.", "Mrs.", "Miss", or "Ms."
Mother's Helper staff members keep names, medical conditions, treatments, and family information private.
Information is not released unless appropriate authorization and consent is obtained.
Mother's Helper will create a chart for each patient — containing all physician's orders, notes and pertinent medical information. Staff members use this chart to record patient treatments and medical conditions. A patient can request to see such information through an appropriate request. Only individuals with legal rights, or those with written permission by the patient, can view a patient's chart.

Problem Solving Procedure

Mother's Helper protects patients' rights. However, any concern or problem can be expressed by contacting the manager or clinical supervisor at the patient's local Mother's Helper branch. Additionally, Mother's Helper Office 1 - 910 - 486 - 8705, to report problems or concerns with service. The North Carolina Public Health Department's Licensure and Certification Division also has a toll-free Home Health Hotline Number, 1-800 - 662 - 7030. Both numbers are accessible 24 hours a day.
